Mackie at the beach! She only used the umbrella for this picture. It was so hot that we left the beach a lot sooner than planned!

We went to the beach on the last day, and this unfortunately was the best I could get of all 3!
Every night at 8 they had a story time and we're even lucky enough to get the Traverse City Cherry Queen to read a book along with Mr. Cherry and the Wolf!
We had lunch in our room each day. A good break and then we went to the Cubs Club to play a little bit. They had crafts and trucks. They best combo for my kids!
This was the best slide. It went through a tunnel which Jackson didn't like so much, but man, it was fast!

Cole was really really good on the trip. All kids slept for 10 straight hours at the same time at night, so we were so fortunate. Cole fell asleep the first day right when we got to the water park. He was just too excited I guess :)
If you ever go here with kids, you MUST get the bunk bed room! The biggest hit of the trip. They had their own little space with a tv and all. They LOVED it. Jack still says he wants to go back to that "cool room"!

This is proof that you don't need a DVD player in the car, just a little old Ipod and a paper towel roll. I downloaded a bunch of shows on my ipod and they just shared and watched. They love it, although when it kept falling down, it was severly annoying for me! Oh well!
I had to put one picture from Mother's Day! It's the traditional 4 generation picture. I think it's my favorite all year!Instead of backtracking a month, I'll just say I was in a little blogging lull. I just didn't feel like making time to update, so I'm back at it now and feel like I'm back on track! Tim's been working a lot of hours and we thought it would be a great idea for everyone to just get away for a 3 day weekend with just our family! It was the best idea we've had in a long time! The kids loved it and both Mackie and Jackson went down every slide in the place. Cole liked the water (although I guess I didn't get pictures of him in the water, but that's because I was holding him and I take most of the pictures...sorry Coley). I'm not convinced Jack even liked going down them, but he did none the less. Mackie thought it was the best thing next to the bunk beds in her room. She did sleep on the top bunk, but I was a little nervous! We walked downtown Traverse City along the water. We just really like it there, you just get that Up North feeling. Everyone in Michigan knows what I mean!
