Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore

Mackie became a Junior Ranger and took her badge and patch to school for show and Tell today.

The most beautiful beach in the entire world...I'm convinced! We floated the Platte River and ended up floating into Lake Michigan! Simply stunning!

Is he not the cutest thing ever??

And he is just as cute!! I just love those boys :)

Our floats before we went down the Platte River. Not real fast, but the kids loved it and Cole napped through most of it. Great time! Grandma and Grandpa Shoskey bought the floats for the kids for Christmas...just a little early so we could use them. They were great!

We went into Frankfort to check it out. We were able to walk down a long pier (which made me really nervous) and the water was as clear blue as the ocean! It was beautiful, we even could see large Salmon swimming below!

Our beautiful little girl :)

Heading back down the pier!

Jackson loved gathering sticks and large logs for our campfires at the campground!

We went Blueberry picking with Tim's parents. The bushes hadn't been pruned much, so it was like walking under a big tunnel. The blueberries were amazing and we are still enjoying them now. This is by far my favorite fruit to pick! Love them!

Cole ate far more than was in his bucket. In fact, I'm quite certain that his bucket was empty by the end!

Here it is! Our new (used) camper! We sure have made a lot of memories in it already! It's awesome! We even had a mouse join us for a few minutes! Mackie didn't like that at all!

Sleeping Bear Dunes! We went twice in fact. Jackson couldn't stop running up and down them. He just thought this was awesome, so did I! Mackie climbed to the top about 4 times.

Here it is, we stayed at the Platte River National Campground for 6 nights. What an awesome place. We will definitely be going back! Above is our trip in a nutshell with pictures! It probably is the most beautiful place I've ever been! We are so excited about our new camper and I really think we will be going on so many different vacations because of it. It was just so amazing to have Tim off work for an entire week! I sure could get used to that!
