Life is Good!

I feel like this has been a title before for me, so I guess I have a lot to be thankful for! I have three really good, really healthy kids, a wonderful husband and a growing baby in my belly! Yes, I'm about 17 weeks pregnant and feeling pretty good...minus the throwing up and headaches! It was a lot worse with the other three that's why I'm not complaining!
Here's a few of my highs (it's the little things in life that make it so good, right?)...
*I tell the kids to go up and get their pj's on, and all three, yes, all three come down all ready for bed. Thanks to Mackie, Cole is dressed as well! I don't ask her to do it, she asks me...is that great or what?
*Cole is super, I mean super active, it's exhausting and therefore God gave him a really good napping skill, like 3 hour naps daily.
*Cole's also over the screaming hump, he actually can tell me what he wants.
*Jackson's the most easy going kid. The only thing I struggle with him is getting him up from naps, he doesn't like waking up, is that great or what?
*I get to coach Mackie and Anthony's soccer team. It's so fun, and even pretty comical watching Mackie grab shirts, and get mean. Who'd she learn that from? Ha, really it wasn't me, I guess it was her old team is what she tells me.
*Tim hasn't worked a weekend day all year and for that I am thankful!
*I can still run, ride a bike and be active while pregnant so far.
*My parent's and in-laws are back in the state, so we get to see them.
*My sister lives about 10 houses from me, and we haven't fought once being this close. It's been fabulous.
*I have this wonderful side job with Bondi Band selling headbands at running expos, and it's the best thing for me and besides, it's the greatest product. I love being a part of it.
*I have great next door neighbors and the kids love playing with them. Wish we could have our old neighbors on the other side of us though :(

*The weather is finally good, we've waited long enough!

The bad in my life is...nothing at the moment, let's just focus on the good cuz there's so much of it!

Tim's birthday mess-up!

I get that I'm late, but I'm trying to stay in order! Tim's been working a lot lately, so his birthday was no different. Mackie had gymnastics until 6:30, so we decided to meet at Red Robin for dinner after that. We had just talked about how there was one in Troy right off the express way, so not too far out of the way for anyone. Tim sends me a text and says, "I'm here, and I already have drinks and appetizers sitting at the table!" I replied with, "Great, should be there in about 5 minutes." And, that was the end of the conversation. I dragged three kids into the restaurant and the lady looks at me when I said, "my husband's already sitting!" She said, "I definitely didn't seat a table for 5!" I knew instantaniously that he was at a different Red Robin. I use the restaurant's phone and sure enough, there he was 6 miles further from our house. He was at the one just 3 miles from his work! Now why on earth would I have driven an extra 6 miles when he's coming home afterwards? So, I caved, afterall it was his birthday, so I strapped 3 kids back in their carseats, and drove the six miles to him. To make a bad story worse, Mack complained of a bad headache the whole car ride. When we got there, sure enough Mackie, and Cole had fevers. We ate as quick as possible, got Tim's birthday sundae, and we just had to get out of there! No pictures from the night, sorry Tim! At least we had a good laugh...afterwards!!

Happy 5th Birthday Mackie!

So my sweet, sassy girl turned 5 on March 4th. She had more birthday cakes and birthday celebrations than anyone I know! 5 years old...how did that happen? She's a good kid and Tim and I love her to pieces. She's a great listener, extremely smart (it amazes me sometimes), the best sister we could have asked for and a true love! I'm really proud of who she's becoming. With Kindergarten approaching in under 6 months, she doesn't have much getting ready to do. She's ready! She'll do so wonderful in school and just love it and love being around kids all day. Can't wait except I can wait, because I'm going to miss her during the day!! All day kindergarten is long, and I'll definitely be shedding some tears that first day. Mackenzie on the other hand, won't shed a single one! Here's a small glimpse into Mack's birthday celebrations!

Florida trip 2011

Our little cuties :)
We went to Doc's on the beach to eat one night. The only night it rained!

Mackie swimming at my Aunt Kathy's and Uncle Jim's pool. We had a really nice dinner there one night!

Check out the gecko Jackson and Tim caught! Jack just loved those things!

Mackie loving the beach!

There's a little splash park real close to my parents and Cole just loved it!

We went to an Alligator farm place that was very neat. Those are alligator's behind us. A little too sunny for Cole! Apparently I should have brough a hat :)

We went to Florida and actually got back on March 3rd! All my pictures were added to my mom's computer while we were there and got deleted off of my camera...ugh! That's why I'm so late on this post and although Mackie did celebrate her 5th birthday, I'm going to keep in the correct order and start with Florida.
That being said, 83 degree sunny weather is pure heaven after a full winter in Michigan! I mean...heaven!! Cole became pretty attached to Pa (my dad). As most know, Cole's an early riser, and on vacation, he's a REALLY early riser. He'd wake up, and say, "Pa!! Pa!! Birdee, Birdee!" and then I would proceed to walk out to the family room, hand my Cole to my dad, and he would take him outside. The neighbors would all be walking their dogs outsidse, and there's my dad walking Cole at 6am! So funny.

Jackson played a lot of baseball with Tim outside, even went to a local high school's baseball game. He did like the pool, but liked it best in our arms. He's still a bit nervous about water.

Mackie played with my mom a lot...at times I'd say my mom was pretty exhausted, but Mackie being the only girl on my side, let's just say, my mom gives her a lot of attention, and she eats it up! She did so great at swimming. She took off her life jacket and was doing a little bit of swimming and was so proud of herself.

Tim and I sure loved being away, and we both loved him not being at work. It's just so wonderful to leave it all behind and just enjoy life, that's exactly what we did! I'm already checking out flights to go to Arizona next year to visit Tim's parents!!

cabin fever

Mack just loves sledding, ice skating and all outside activities!
Jackson is not quite into ice skating and likes bootin and sledding down small hills :)

Cole likes being outside until his hands hurt then he is instantly done. He hates sledding this year anyway, but he needs the fresh air.

Tim had a little extra hair he was sporting until he couldn't stand it any longer and got rid of it. I thought it was really cute!

I was scrolling through recent pictures and noticed, I just don't have many. Yes, we have gotten outside recently and we love our new house, but the winter is just too too long! Oh, how I long for the sun!

4 1/2, 3 1/2, and 1 1/2 in their stage

I just love this picture! Yes, he dressed himself, and yes, I let him go to the grocery store with me with the mismatched socks on as gloves. How does anyone not think 3 is a fun age! Last year's T-shirt in 10 degree weather, spiderman socks, and pants that are two inches too short!
Mackie's babies sleep a lot! I mean, like all day! This is my Mackie, she loves her babies and she takes really good care of them!

Jackson's so into Toy Story 3, and Mackie likes it too, (more so because Jack does) and she got a Jesse doll! She loves her...right now :)

Yes, Jackson and Buzz, like two peas in a pod! To infinity and beyoooond...Tim treated the kids with a toy just because last week. Jackson couldn't have been more excited to play with his new Buzz!

Oh Cole...what else is their to say. He's our Jokester, our crazy one! Full of life and daredevil moves daily. He's a stinker as Jack and Mackie say daily, but the life of the party none the less!

Welcome to the World Baby Gianna!

Five weeks early and almost 6lbs, Gianna Kay was ready to make her debut. She was born Tuesday, February 1st! Tim's sister Melanie had her third girl and came home from the hospital on Saturday. We were lucky enough to have some cousin time and had our neices here for a few days. I'm itching to see her in person, but haven't even had the chance to see her yet. Tomorrow I hope! Tim left work early on Tuesday so was able to be at the hospital and see her fresh out of the womb. The pictures we have are on Tim's phone so I'll upload them later today. She looks beautiful and is doing great. She was breach, so Mel had to have a c-section so a bit different the third time around. Congrats to Mel and Jeff, and the girls :)
